Our Values

The Word of God

2 Timothy 3:16
We value the Bible as the inspired and authoritative Word of God, which is the foundation of our faith and the guide for our lives. We aim to study and apply the Word of God in our daily lives, both individually and as a congregation.

Love

John 13:34
We value love as the most important commandment of Jesus Christ, and as the core of our ministry. We seek to show love to God and to others, both within and outside our church, through acts of kindness, compassion, and forgiveness.

Holiness

1 Thessalonians 4:3-4,7
We value the pursuit of holiness as the process of maturing into the full stature of Christ in thought, word, and deed. We aim to live holy lives, set apart for God's purposes, and to help others do the same

Faith

Ephesians 2:8-9
We value faith as the means by which we receive salvation and grow in our relationship with God. We aim to have strong and vibrant faith, rooted in the truth of God's Word, and to encourage others to do the same.

Giving

Matthew 6:2-4
We value giving as an act of worship and obedience to God. We aim to be generous with our time, talents, and resources, and to support ministries and causes that are aligned with our vision and mission.

Prayer

Matthew 6:5-8
We value prayer as the means by which we connect with God, seek His guidance, and intercede for others. We aim to cultivate a culture of prayer, both individually and as a congregation, and to see the power of prayer at work in our lives and in the world.

Praise

Psalm 150:6
We value praise as a way to express our love and gratitude to God. We aim to be a people who are characterized by joyful and exuberant praise, both in our private worship and in our corporate gatherings.

Soul winning

Matthew 28, Mark 16
We value soul winning as the means by which we fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, to make disciples of all nations. We aim to share the good news of the gospel with others, both through evangelism and discipleship, and to see lives transformed by the power of God's Word.

Our Beliefs

  • 1
We believe the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, without any error, the all-sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living
  • 2
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
  • 3
We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is true God and man. He died on the cross for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father and is now our High Priest and Advocate.
  • 4
We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and therefore lost. Only through regeneration by the work of the Holy Spirit can man's salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
  • 5
We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from man's works, and is possessed by any and all who have faith in and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
  • 6
We believe in a regenerated church membership: that is, persons old enough to understand their need for Jesus Christ and, of their own free will, accepted Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
  • 7
We believe that baptism is by immersion and the Lord's Supper is a memorial to His suffering and death on the cross. These are ordinances to be observed by the church in its present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means for man's salvation.
  • 8
We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that His Second Coming inspires believers for dynamic and zealous life and service for Him while waiting for His return.
  • 9
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in heaven, and the everlasting punishment and separation from God of the unsaved in hell.
  • 10
We believe in the autonomy of the local church. The church shall manage its own affairs and shall not be subject to any other religious body or organization.
